3/10/2003 - I finally figured out the genius of server side includes! Finally, the site is ready to go up, and here it is! Oh, and Uranus moves into Pisces.

3/6/2003 - At this point it became apparent that I wasn’t getting what I wanted. So I took it as my queue to move on because it wasn’t where I needed to be in life at this point. Exactly 6 months later, Sterling and I parted directions.

This is just another email that gives an idea of what I did at work:

Subject: Time Usage, week of 2/18 - 2/21

Good morning Xenon,

Time Usage Report for Trial Week:

Out of approximately 34 hours (excluding the time it took to write this email), I managed to spend about 60% of my time (20 hours, average 5 hours per day) saving/attaching releases (14.5 hours saving, 5.5 hours attaching). This was done while not working on my clients or picking up 101s. The remaining 40% of my time (about 14 hours, 3.5 hours per day) was spent on emails, fax problems, looking for releases, etc. (forwarding failed faxes was done simultaneously while working on other tasks). Having spent this amount of time on the fax server allowed me to digitize 8 days worth of releases in 4 days. When caught up, I should spend half the amount of time digitizing, which would free up about 2.5 hours per day for clients and 101s. However even though I'm caught up on the fax servers I work on, at the beginning of next week (which is this week by the time you read this), I plan on catching Mark up on the fax server he works on. Then, hopefully, neither of us will get so behind again.

On a side note, the attaching program has this nifty little feature to bring up a list of releases that don't have releases attached (separated by who opened the file, client/sterling). As a potential use of my time, I could target those files which need releases (which hopefully aren't sitting there not being worked on for that reason), attach the release (or request it), and send it off to REFERENCE/REFERENCE.
